Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at a charming hotel nestled just above Tilcara, I found a captivating blend of traditional and modern design. The property features only ten accommodations, each equipped with fireplaces and safes, which contributed to a cozy and secure atmosphere. The reception service was available 24/7, ensuring any queries were promptly addressed. I appreciated the on-site dining options, particularly the log-cabin-style dining area that enhanced the rustic charm, and the lentil soup I had for dinner was noteworthy. The hotel's heated pool offered a peaceful way to unwind while soaking in the gorgeous views of the garden and surrounding mountains. While the journey to reach the hotel with a vehicle can be somewhat challenging, the attentive staff and well-maintained facilities made for a rewarding experience overall, blending comfort and the unique spirit of American backcountry architecture with local traditions.
